Puppy Preschool.

This course is for puppies who are 8 weeks - 6 months old. This class meets once a week for about one hour for seven weeks.

This class will have the AKC STAR Puppy test at the end of it. The course covers: look, sit, down, leave it, come, stay, walking on a leash, neutrality to other dogs / people, body handling, environmentals, bad behavior prevention, and troubleshooting common behavioral issues (jumping, mouthing, barking, ect).

Total cost: $150.00

AKC Canine Good Citizen Program.

This program is a three class program for dogs who are at least ten months old with beginner skills. Each course meets once a week for six weeks for about one hour. The first course meets at our facility. The next two levels of the course meet out in public. This program is highly recommended for dogs who are training to be therapy or service animals. Beginner Obedience.

This course is for dogs who are over the age of six months old. This class meets once a week for about one hour for seven weeks.

This course will be going over: markers, release words, look, sit, down, leave it, come, stay, walking on a leash, neutrality to other dogs/people, troubleshooting bad behavior, and impulse control.

*STAR Puppy test available for dogs under 1 year old.

AKC Competitive Obedience.

This course meet once a week for six weeks for about one hour.

At this time we will be offering the “Beginner Novice” and “Companion Dog” level of preparation. This class we will be going over heelwork, rear end awareness, sit/stay, down/stay, sit/exam, stand/exam, stand, and individual troubleshooting.

Intermediate Obedience.

This is course is for dogs who have beginner skills. The class meets once a week for six weeks for about one hour.

The course will be going over: finish right, finish left, formal focused heel, back, place, distance sit/down, motion sit/down, distracted stay/come/leave it, and stand.

*Depending on the season the distractions and exercises will be different. This is also a great refresher course.

AKC Rally Obedience.

These courses meet once a week for six weeks for about one hour.

Rally obedience is a great way to get involved in the “dog sport world” without having loads of pressure. In this sport you are allowed to communicate with your dog as much as you’d like to while you and your dog navigate a course full of instructional signs.

Currently we are offering classes at the novice, intermediate/advanced, excellent, and master levels.

Frisbee.

This course is for ALL levels of frisbee players. We will be learning and practicing “Toss and Fetch” and “Updog” frisbee games. Your dog will be learning how to target, jump safely, catch rollers, and the “ins and outs” of frisbee!

The class meets once a week for 4 weeks. This is progressive. Each week we will work on a different skill or game.

Agility.

At this time we will be running foundation level obedience classes. During this class your dog will be getting used to obstacles, learning rear end awareness, building drive, building speed, and building engagement. Please keep in mind that agility requires lots of movement from the handler and the dog. Classes will meet once a week for 5 weeks for about one hour.

Dock Diving.

Flyball.

Currently we are offering a foundation level course. We will be working on targeting, retrieves, speed, rebounds, and recalls. Flyball is a team sport where the dog does most of the work! This game is like a relay race. Whichever team runs all their dogs over the hurdles and retrieves the ball the fastest WINS!

This course will be progressive. This class will meet once a week.

AKC Tricks.

We offer trick classes from novice-elite performer. In these classes we will learn a varity of tricks including but not limited to: spin, high five, beg, leg weaves, orbit, jump through circled arms, roll over, play dead, speak, fetch your leash, bow, say your prayers, and SO MUCH MORE!

These classes meet once a week for six weeks. At the end of the class you will be able to take the trick title evaluation.

Pack Walk.

These structured walks are a great way to work on passive socialization under a trainers supervision. During our walks we work on loose leash walking, passing people / other dogs under control, auto sits, check ins, and leave it. This is a “drop in” course meaning you don’t have to pre-sign up in order to attend! Each we will will be walking a different path. Check our calendar or give us a call about pack walk dates and times.

Total cost: $5.00 per dog

Muzzle UP.

This course is for dogs who are FRIENDLY, REACTIVE, OR NOT SOCIAL! Often times muzzles are look at as a punishment and not a tool. We believe every dog should be comfortable in a muzzle in case of complicated vet visits or injuries. Many dogs who are reactive or agressive would benefit from muzzle training if it meant they could go out and walk in a park without fear. During this course we want to teach you and your dog to LOVE the muzzle!

This course will be four weeks long. Two classes will meet in our facility and two will meet out in public to work on generalizing.

Total cost: $50.00

Fit Paws.

Grooming 101.

The grooming class will be going over desensitization to grooming equiptment and handling. This includes but is not limited to nail clippers, dremels, combs, brushes, and dryers. During this class the handler will also learn how to maintain their dogs nails and coat in between professional grooming appointments.

This course will meet once a week for 6 weeks. Total cost is $100.00

Social Outing.

During our social outings we will be working on keeping dogs exposed to a varity of different sights, smells, and sounds. Each week of the month we will meet to do something different. For example: week one we may meet for a meal on an outdoor patio and work on long downs, not begging, and being neutral. Week two we may meet in a pet friendly store to work on going through crowds and distracted / out of sight stays.

This course will meet once a week for 4 weeks. Completion of the “CGCA” class is required to take this course. This course will be ongoing.

Total cost: $80.00 per dog

Doughnut Club.

A super fun group of people and dogs that meet and help each other with all things dog! We provide FREE coffee and breakfast for everybody who attends. During the time together we can work on anything your dog needs to. This is a great way to socialize young puppies, fearful dogs, or just come and meet some of our clients and staff! This “club” is a drop in option. This means you don’t have to pre-sign up to attend. Doughnut club meets Thursday mornings from 10:00 AM - 11:30 PM.

Total cost: $10.00 per team (dog and handler)

Puppy Play Group.

Play group is for puppies who are three months - six months of age. We will provide toys, different textures, puppy friendly obstacles, and of course supervised play. This is a great opportunity to get your puppy around dogs of their age and different people.

This course is a drop in course. This means you do not have to preregister to attend.

Total cost: $5.00 per puppy

Paw Painting.

Therapy Dog International Prep.

This six week course will prepare you and your dog to take the ‘Therapy Dog International” certification exam. A ‘Canine Good Citizen’ certificate is required to attend. We will be practicing and going over everything on the test. To learn more about “TDI” click here.

Field Rental.

If you are looking for a safe place to exercise your dog, work on your nosework, obedience, or frisbee skills then we’ve got you covered!

All dogs must be under control and up to date on shots. You do not need to be a student of ours to take advantage of this space. Vaccinations are required.

Total cost: $15.00 per hour
